How to Apply

(For academic year 2023/24 only)

What do I need to include in my application?

Please check your qualifications match the entry requirements for the course you are applying for.

When reviewing applications particular attention will be paid to academic performance. Given the competition for places, preference will be given to applicants who have or who are projected to exceed our minimum requirements.

As part of your online application you will be able to upload scanned documents. Where possible please merge connected documents so you upload fewer documents, e.g. merge your degree transcripts and certificates together.

If we require any further information we will ask for it.  Please make sure you read any requests carefully and provide the correct information as we will not chase you further.

Applications without basic information included, including documentation listed below, will be prioritised lower than complete applications, which may result in a delay to you getting a decision.

Your application must include the following:

  • A copy of your degree certificate and complete transcript. If you are still studying, please provide your latest transcript plus a list of modules yet to be studied.

  • Evidence of your final or current overall % or GPA (see the country specific information below for further guidance if you are studying in China, India or Canada).

  • A copy of your grading scheme if this is not on your degree transcript.  This is essential if you are applying for a scholarship via the University.

If you have them, please include the following:

  • Your approved English Language test (if applicable).

  • CAS, Visa and BRP – International students that have previously studied in the UK on a Tier 4 or Student visa.

We are sometimes able to issue a conditional offer without these documents, but if they are required we will not issue an unconditional offer until we have received them.

Documents which are not required:

  • An up-to-date CV showing your relevant work experience and education.

  • References.

  • A personal statement.

We will not normally check these items. You should include all relevant experience in the correct section of your application.

If you apply before the application deadline for a particular stage, as shown below, you will normally receive a response on or before the “Decision by” date.
