Undergraduate degrees
Undergraduate degrees
Mechanical engineers are involved in the design and manufacture of almost everything. As a mechanical engineer you could become involved in design, manufacture, research, development, management or marketing. Our courses share a common first two years, which means you have the freedom to switch courses up until the end of your second year.
We also teach Product Design BSc and contribute to the multidisciplinary Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering MEng, BEng course.
Work placements and study abroad
Our degrees have the added opportunity to take an industrial work placement or study abroad, allowing you to build key professional and personal skills that could give your CV that competitive edge when you graduate. Find out more on the course pages.
