47th Annual Leeds-Lyon Symposium - Tribology for a Sustainable Future
After 46 successful events, the symposium, (jointly sponsored by the University of Leeds, UK and the Institut National des Sciences Appliquèes (INSA) de Lyon, Université de Lyon, France), has become an established event in the international tribology calendar. Each year the symposium provides an opportunity to tribologists and those working in related fields to discuss and assimilate recent advances of tribology and to exchange views and ideas on a broader basis. Combining both breadth and depth the symposium will provide an outstanding forum to review recent advances in tribology and applied surface science and to examine the contribution these areas can make to a sustainable future.
In this Leeds-Lyon Symposium, we will capture the exciting developments which cut across many tribological areas to create efficient tribological systems that will underpin the development of novel technologies with great impact on future sustainable development. Offerings of original research are requested in (but not limited to) the following areas:
- Sustainable and green lubricants
- Novel materials with advanced tribological performance
- Advanced measurement and simulation methods
- Interface life-cycles
- Sustainable interfacial design
