Dr Jaemin Lee

Dr Jaemin Lee

Profile

Dr Lee joined the Future Manufacturing Processes Research Group in School of Mechanical Engineering at University of Leeds as a University Academic Fellow in April 2020.

His research at Leeds focuses on materials engineering and analysis for future manufacturing and development of advanced manufacturing processes for healthcare/wearable devices. His research interest prior to joining Leeds includes chemical/interfacial engineering of nanomaterials (i.e. metal nanoparticles and graphene), development of mechanically durable nanoelectronic devices and manufacturing processes engineering for solar cells and organic light emitting diodes. Given the highly interdisciplinary nature of his research he has established diverse research backgrounds in nanoscale materials/devices engineering.

Jaemin has first (or co-first) authored 6 peer-reviewed journal papers published in renowned journals including Advanced Materials, Energy & Environmental Science, Advanced Functional Materials and Small and also co-authored 16 journal articles in the fields of materials, chemical engineering and manufacturing. He has been actively engaging with fantastic collaborators in world-leading research institutes and has several patents granted via successful collaborations with industry including Samsung Display.
