An inaugural lecture is a significant milestone in any academic’s career, recognising their promotion to Professor. It also offers an opportunity for our new professorial colleagues to showcase their work and innovative research with a broad audience, including members of the public, family, friends, and colleagues.
These lectures, organised by the Faculty’s CPD Conference & Events Unit, typically take place on Wednesday afternoons and are completely free to attend. All are followed by a drinks reception – the perfect opportunity for networking between academics, students, researchers, industry experts, and those simply interested in the cutting-edge topics being discussed.
