All-Staff Forum: Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences

All staff in the Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences are invited to join the All-Staff Forum on Wednesday 7 May 2025.

Taking place in the Great Hall, the All-Staff Forum is a chance for colleagues to network and catch up over refreshments, hear updates, ask questions and contribute to the discussion. 

This forum will include: 

12:40 – 13:00    Registration and refreshments (sandwiches, cakes, tea/coffee)

13:00 – 13:30    Welcome and Intro with Q&A

13:30 – 14:00    Faculty Director of Institute flash presentations:   

• Astbury Centre for Structural Molecular Biology – Adam Nelson

• HealthTech Leeds – Christoph Walti and Ruth Wilcox
• Leeds Institute for Fluid Dynamics – Harvey Thompson
• Robotics at Leeds – Pietro Valdastri

14:00 – 14:30    Networking - with an opportunity to find out more about our Research Institutes and visit their stands

Attendance is optional, but we warmly encourage as many colleagues as possible to join. It’s an in-person event and places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis, as spaces are limited by venue capacity. 

Booking is required to attend this event – you can do so by filling in the online booking form. Please book by Monday 5 May 2025.
