Machine Learning and Deep Learning with MATLAB

Join us to find out how machine learning and deep learning are used, and how to get started with them in MATLAB.

Machine learning is a data analytics technique that teaches computers to do what comes naturally to humans and animals: learn from experience. Machine learning algorithms use computational methods to learn information directly from data without relying on a predetermined equation as a model. The algorithms adaptively improve their performance as the number of samples available for learning increases. Deep learning is a subset of machine learning, and is a technique that is gaining a foothold across multiple disciplines - enabling self-driving cars, predictive fault monitoring of jet engines, and time series forecasting in the financial markets, to name a few examples.

In MATLAB it takes just a few lines of code to build a machine learning or deep learning model, without needing to be an expert in the techniques. MATLAB is the ideal environment for the entire data analytics workflow - covering data pre-processing and labelling, through to model training and deployment.
