International Women in Engineering Day 2018

In honour of International Women in Engineering Day, the University is hosting a chance to experience hands on the breadth of Engineering available at Leeds.

Attendees will experience 5 interactive stalls each posing a different engineering problem, as well as meet the real Engineers conducting the research.

Pupils will get to investigate ‘Low Carbon Technologies’, ‘Engineering Flood Defences’, ‘Nuclear Engineering’, ‘Bioengineering Bones’ and ‘Robotics and Programming’.

Lunch is provided.

Eligibility:

Secondary school students are invited to attend the event, up to 5 female students per school in either year 10 or 11.
