Leeds Digital Festival 2018

The North's largest digital festival is back this April to celebrate the digital sector in Leeds, with one hundred and forty three events takings place, and more in the pipeline.

The Leeds Digital Festival is in its third year and will be bigger and better than ever in 2018. The University of Leeds is proud to be a premier sponsor of this event which highlights workshops and talks in categories such as; gaming, women in tech, VR, cyber security and data. Events already booked in include the return of festival favourites FinTech North and Code in the Dark. The University of Leeds is hosting a series of events across the campus and the city, ranging from sessions on online education to speakers from Nexus – the gateway to world-leading research and innovation at the University. 

As part of the Leeds Digital Festival, the Leeds Digital Festival Awards 2018 recognise the commitment and success of individuals and companies within the Leeds City Region. The awards will take place with an evening of celebration at Headrow House, 25 April, and will see a panel of six established judges award the winning nominees in the following categories: Entrepreneur of the Year, Startup of the Year, Facilitator of the Year, Tech Innovation of the Year and One to Watch 2018.
