The Chinese Academy of Sciences has awarded a national prize in teaching to a graduate of the School of Computing.
The Steel Innovation Award
The award, in memory of Dr Margaret Steel, is a generous £1000 prize awarded to female students who showed a particular aptitude for innovation and want to develop an idea.
A building designed for 21st century science
A new teaching and research facility for the Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences has been formally handed over to the University by construction company BAM.
