2017 QS World University Rankings by Subject

Engineering at the University of Leeds has achieved excellent results for the latest QS World Rankings by Subject, which evaluates 3,551 universities.

Published annually since 2011, the QS World University Rankings by Subject ranks the world’s leading institutions in individual subject areas, covering 36 disciplines.

The results of the survey are based on global surveys of academics, graduate employers, as well as research expertise.

This year is the seventh edition of the QS World University Rankings by Subject, wherein the following University of Leeds Schools within the Faculty of Engineering are ranked in the top 100:

  • Civil and Structural Engineering

  • Chemical Engineering

  • Mechanical, Aeronautical and Manufacturing Engineering
