- Thesis title: Optimisation of osteochondral grafts for the treatment of cartilage lesions
- Supervisors: Professor Ruth Wilcox, Dr Marlène Mengoni, Hazel Fermor
Profile
I completed my undergraduate at Cardiff University where I contributed to leading biomechanics research analysing joint kinematics using a combination of fluoroscopy and motion-capture-based methods.
During my Masters at the University of Leeds I developed methods to incorporate patient-specific bone properties into Finite Element Analyses methods.
I am currently completing a PhD aiming to optimise the use of osteochondral grafts for the treatment of cartilage lesions, utilising a combination of biomechanical and computational analyses.
