Set Theory in the UK 8

The eighth meeting of Set Theory in the UK

The eighth meeting of the Set Theory in the UK network will be held at the University of Leeds on Friday the 16th of September 2022. All are welcome to attend. Speakers will include:

  • Azul Fatalini, University of Münster
  • Jan Grebik, University of Warwick
  • Dorottya Sziraki, Renyi Institute Budapest

A timetable is below; we will commence proceedings at 11am.

In the afternoon we will have a series of informal minitalks, particularly encouraging local graduate students to introduce themselves to the STUK community if they are new, and to talk about what they are working on.

If you would like to come to dinner and have not already contacted us, please do so by the end of the 9th of September so that we can confirm numbers.

If you have any questions or issues with accessing the meeting, please do not hesitate to contact us at either R.M.A.Matthews@leeds.ac.uk or J.Yuan@leeds.ac.uk.

The meeting will also take place via zoom; on the day, click here to attend the talks (meeting ID: 885 9281 0885). The password is formed as follows: take the 10 letter word, starting with "F" and with all other letters lower-case, which is the name of the ZFC axiom which guarantees in particular that no set can be an element of itself. Then, replace each "o" by "0" and each "a" by "@", and you have the password.
