We introduce mutation along infinite admissible sequences for surfaces with infinitely many marked points on the boundary. This allows us to define mutation equivalence classes for the (completed) infinity-gon. For the completed infinity-gon, we then extending this notion to transfinite mutations and show that under this notion, the exchange graph is connected.
This is joint work with S. Gratz (Oxford).
