NIHR YouTube competition win for iMBE researchers

A team of researchers from the Institute of Medical and Biological Engineering have been announced as one of the winning teams.

The competition was for the first National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) YouTube New Media Competition.

The aim of the competition was for NIHR funded trainees and researchers to communicate their work through the medium of short videos. The NIHR was looking for the best short film to engage, inform and enthuse patients and the public about the value of health research and the completion resulted in three prizes being awarded.

The fantastic video created by the iMBE team, ‘Advanced preclinical testing of joint replacement devices’ and the 2 other winning videos can be viewed on the official NIHR TV YouTube channel.
