In this talk we discuss local (of Dubrovin-Novikov type) and nonlocal (of Ferapontov type) Hamiltonian structures for hydrodynamic type systems (integrable by the Generalised Hodograph Method). 

We show that such systems possess corresponding local Lagrangian representations.
