Multi and Single Modality Medical Image Analys
Duane Carey, Artificial Intelligence Group, School of Computing
Abstract: I will discuss my experiences of correlating vibrational spectroscopy with traditional pathological modalities in the differentiation of colonic disease states. Work from my PhD project will be presented that highlights the benefits of using such an approach and will end with a discussion on the potential pitfalls that still need to be overcome. Further to this, I will give an overview of my current research by presenting stain quantification, nuclei detection and multistain colour deconvolution case studies
