Yixue Shen

Profile

I am a Lecturer in Project Management at the Leeds Centre for Projects, School of Civil Engineering. My research focuses on digital transformation in project management, with interests in project data analytics, project digitalisation, and the adoption of machine learning to improve project delivery.

I am an active member of APM, PMI, and IPMA. I have collaborated with organisations such as the Infrastructure and Projects Authority, Severn Trent, and the Department for Education. My work has been recognised and funded by the Alan Turing Institute.

I hold a PhD and MSc in Project Management from the University of Warwick and a BSc in Economics from the University of International Business and Economics (China).

Student education

I teach CIVE5177 System Integration module and CIVE5176 Innovation and Digital Technologies module for MSc Engineering Project Management in 2024-2025 academic year.
