Yixue Shen

Profile

I am a PhD candidate (viva passed, completing corrections) at the Universtiy of Warwick. My PhD research focus on the use of data analytics and machine learning in project delivery. I have collaborated with organisations such as Infrastructure and Projects Authority, Severn Trent and the Department for Education. My work has been recognised and granted by the Alan Turing Institute. I hold an MSc in Programme and Project Management from the University of Warwick and a BSc in Economics from the University of International Business and Economics (China). 

Research interests

My research focuses on digital transformation in project management. My research interests include project data analytics, project digitalisation, and the adoption of Machine Learning to improve project delivery. I am an active member of APM, PMI and IPMA.

Student education

I teach CIVE5177 System Integration module and CIVE5176 Innovation and Digital Technologies module for MSc Engineering Project Management in 2024-2025 academic year.
