Yi Zeng

Profile

I am a first-year PhD student working within the Project Management group in the School of Civil Engineering at the University of Leeds. I have graduated as the MSc (Engineering) with merit in Engineering Project Management from the University of Leeds. I have completed my bachelor degrees in both China and the UK. I graduated in BE in Engineering Management from the Northeast Forestry University in China, and I was awarded the degree of BSc in Construction Project Management from Aston University in the UK.

Regarding my industrial experience, I worked as an intern in Heilongjiang Longjian Road and Bridge Second Engineering Co. Ltd. in 2022. I was responsible for survey lofting of the reconstruction and extension of the K0+000 section to K32+000 section of the secondary road including the measurement of the cutting slope on both sides of the road and the measurement of the excavation section.

Research interests

My research interests focus on how to enhance the productivity and efficiency of construction projects. I am now particularly interested in the behaviours in the projects, especially the communication within the projects. Besides, I focus on the digital transformation of the construction industry, especially on the integration of AI technology into the projects.
