Profile
I’m a first-year post-graduate researcher at the University of Leeds and a member of Leeds Centre for Projects (LCP). I have Masters degree is Engineering Management (Upper Second Class honours) from University of Jordan and Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from Hashemite University (Second Class honours). I have also gained a practical experience of 10 years in Infrastructure Engineering specifically in areas related to Water Management, Drainage Design, Sustainable Urban Drainage Solutions (SuDS), Flood Management, Highway Design, and Project Management.
During my practical experience as well as my academic journey I have developed the passion to infrastructure sustainability and how it impacts the traditional design and how the sustainability vision is managed during the project life cycle. Therefore, i’ve been engaged in different webinars and conferences focused on the Nature based solutions as climate action strategies in the built environment and the smart built environment.
The research problem during the PhD will focus on Infrastructure Sustainability and how to embrace it during the life cycle of the project while studying the impact of different stakeholders perceptions.
