Profile
I am a second-year PhD student at the University of Leeds and a member of the Leeds Centre for Projects (LCP), where my research explores construction productivity through the lens of systems thinking.
My academic journey began in 2017 as an Assistant Lecturer at MTC in Oman, a role I held for six years before being promoted to Lecturer in 2023. During this time, I was actively involved in academic life through teaching, and by organising and participating in conferences. My formal research journey began in 2022 with the presentation of my first conference paper at EPPM2022, marking a significant milestone in my development as a researcher.
Research interests
My research interests centre on construction productivity, with a focus on addressing industry-wide challenges through a macro-level and systems thinking perspective. I am particularly interested in exploring the complex socioeconomic factors that influence productivity and in developing holistic approaches to enhance performance across the construction sector. My work aims to bridge the gap between fragmented, reductionist studies and a more integrated understanding of productivity at the industry level.
