Why did you choose the University of Leeds?
Leeds is a big city with lots to do. The accommodation and sports facilities available sold it to me.
Why did you choose to study Natural Sciences?
I wanted to keep my options open as to which area of science I wanted to go into. With Natural Sciences and being able to study a variety of sciences, this course was perfect for me.
What do you like most about your course?
It's such a flexible course, I can pick which modules I want to study which fits around what I'm interested in the most.
What skills have you gained from your course so far?
I've gained time management skills, through completing work to deadlines and managing my study time, organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
What do you like the most about being a student?
Living with my friends is my favourite bit about being a student. My best experience as a student was my year abroad in Canada.
Is there anything which particularly surprised you about being a student?
How close you get with friends you live with in second and third year. I've definitely made some friends for life being at university.
What do you do outside of your studies?
I'm a member of the Natural Sciences Society, part of the book club and photography society, as well as working for the School of Chemistry during events such as Open Days.
