Profile

I am a PGR at the  Architecture and Urbanism Research Group at University of Leeds. My research topic is Cultural Rural Tourism, a Dayak Heritage Conservation and Cultural Development in East Kalimantan, Indonesia, supervised by Professor Gehan Selim. The topic challenge how far the development of rural tourism might have an impact on the community’s heritage and how the stakeholder's role in rural tourism development. I received my master’s degree from Universitas Gajah Mada Indonesia and my bachelor's degree in Architecture from Universitas Brawijaya Indonesia.


I have worked as a lecturer at Universitas Mulawarman in Indonesia for several years. Besides teaching, I have been involved in construction project experience and research projects before I started my PhD. I was an Architecture Technical team and PiC Procurement in Project Implementation Unit Universitas Mulawarman, Islamic Development Bank- 4in1 Project.   My latest research’s role as a local researcher in research collaboration between Universitas Ciputra and the Ministry of Tourism and Economy Creative Indonesia in 2022. The research project is about developing a traditional market in a Cultural village in Samarinda, Indonesia. I also published and presented my research locally and internationally. 

Research interests

 I am interested in doing research in architecture, Heritage, Rural and urbanism.  I have written and published articles in this area of research.
