Responsibilities

  • Manager of Sustainable Science and Technology MSc

Research interests

Our group is interested in understanding all chemical processes and in rationally improving/optimising the application of these processes in both academia and industry. The research is highly collaborative and focuses on the interdisciplinary interfaces between Physical/Organic/Process Chemistry and Chemical Engineering. The current research themes in the group are:

  • Organic synthesis on water, green chemistry
  • Application of AI and Machine Learning to predict chemical properties and reactivity
  • Mechanistic study of metal catalysed reactions
  • CO2 utilisation in High Value Chemical Manufacture
