- Thesis title: Machine-Learning-Assisted Rapid Prototyping of Supported Catalysts 3D Printed High Throughput Flow Reactors
- Supervisor: Prof. Bao Nguyen, Professor Elaine Martin, Dr Ehab Saleh
Profile
The purpose of my research is to streamline the prototyping of heterogenous catalysts for continuous flow processes. To achieve this I utilise both novel additive manufacturing methods, and machine learning, both of which allow for rapid design iteration, and minimal material utilisation. The overarching goals of my project are to develop a design protocol for heterogenous catalyst/microreactor systems, and demonstrate the viability of using online montioring for the automation of multiphase heterogeous catalst/microreactor systems.
