Profile
I completed my undergraduate degree in Chemistry at the University of Lincoln, followed by a Masters in English Literature. My BSc covered a range of organic, inorganic and physical chemistry, as well as industry-led projects, practical skills, and specialist modules in green chemistry, fire forensics and explosives. In my final year I researched the controlled crystallisations of three boronic acids (2-, 3-, and 4-formylphenylboronic acid) using the Zinsser Auto Pipetting System and manipulation of HOF porosity through solvent selection. Supervised by Dr Gareth O. Lloyd. My MA research covered relationships between male-presenting characters in three of Shakespeare’s plays, with a foundation of queer theory and presentism. Supervised by Dr Christopher Marlow.
I began this EPSRC funded PhD project in October 2025 with Dr Anuradha R. Pallipurath and Professor Bao Nguyen.
