Profile
I was awarded my Ph.D in Physics in the year 2015 from National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli, India. I worked in the same institute for another 3 years as a Lecturer (on contract). In 2018, I moved to the U.K as a Marie Curie Fellow at University of Glasgow for my postdoctoral research. From 2021 to 2024, I worked as a research fellow in the School of Mechanical Engineering at University of Leeds. From November 2024, to September 2025, I was employed as research technician in the School of Design in the area ot textile research. From October 2025, I am a research fellow in the School of Physics and Astronomy.
Research interests
I am passionate on experimental research in the interdisciplinary domain of physics, material science and engineering. My research interest span from condensed/soft matter physics, magnetic materials, nanotechnology, chemical synthesis, material characterisation, device manufacturing, smart materials, sensors and softrobotics.
