Profile
I am a doctoral researcher in the School of Civil Engineering. I am a part-time research assistant working on a wide range of projects across the nexus of sustainability, concrete, and low-carbon materials. My current PhD work is on sustainable circular economy in construction.
Major funded projects completed since 2024
- Rare Earth, Bio-based material (Hemp fibres) in Structural Concrete
- Innovate UK, Activated Electric Arc furnace Slag as Cementitious Binder Replacement
In 2023, I earned my master's degree in civil and environmental engineering from Nazarbayev University, with research focused on sustainable soil stabilisation using steel slag. Following my undergraduate studies, I have worked as a full-time civil engineer with Nigeria’s Federal Ministry of Works and Housing on groundbreaking infrastructure projects. I also worked as a part-time researcher on concrete.
