Profile
I am a postgraduate Researcher at the University of Leeds, School of Physics, Condensed Matter Group and I previously studied BSc and Msci at the University of Nottingham.
Research interests
My research area is in magnetic skyrmions in chiral multilayers, studying their creation, annihilation, and manipulation, typically through spin-polarised current injection.
My MSci research project was in Terahertz spintronic oscillators, which uses spin currents and the spin hall effect to generate high frequency electrical signals.
I am interested in both experimental and theoretical/computational spin-based systems, and the team is currently working towards developing these techniques for use in novel, high efficiency data storage and information processing applications.
