Bragg PhD Colloquium 2024: Registration and Abstract Submission

The Bragg Centre for Materials Research announces the 4th Annual Bragg PhD Colloquium on Tuesday 18th June 2024 at the Maurice Keyworth Building, University of Leeds.

The Bragg PhD Colloquium attracts University of Leeds students from all aspects of materials research every year. The conference is an excellent opportunity for students to practice presenting their research to their peers in a friendly and welcoming environment, as well as a chance to meet and network with researchers from across the University.

It now welcomes University of Leeds PhD students to submit a talk abstract to present at the Colloquium. Talk Abstract submissions are now open and will close on Tuesday 7th May at 23:59.

Talks will be 15 minutes in length, including time for questions. If you would like to submit a talk abstract, please select this in the ticket registration and you will be prompted to submit your abstract. Read more details about the submission process at the TicketTailor website.

This year’s Colloquium will include a careers talk from Dr Ellen Guest, Senior Portfolio Manager in Advanced Materials at EPSRC – UKRI.

As well as the talks and career session, this year’s Colloquium will also include a poster session and we would very much welcome all students from any stage in their studies from any disciplines across materials research to register to present a poster and shine a light on their research. Registration for posters is now open and will close Friday 7th June. Please note, we may need to close registration for posters early if we reach capacity.

We also welcome all supervisory team members to attend and you will be able to register your attendance.
