Profile

I experienced at the specific research areas, particularly in mechanical and surface engineering. Also, I have been as a lecturer for some fundamental subjects of Mechanical Engineering (engineering drawing, metrology and statistics) and as a demonstrator of manufacturing and assembly processes subject.

B.Eng and M.Eng
The previous research interested in using the biomachining as an alternative method to manufacture metal surfaces. A characterization and applied science to build a micro-channel and micro-heat exchanger system were conducted during research period.

Postgraduate Researcher (PhD Candidate) at University of Leeds
The current research involves metal-based alloys as a suitable material of hip joint replacements/prostheses. The study is to understand how the interactions/kinetics of the biological substances with the CoCrMo alloys surface under the tribology and corrosion (tribocorrosion) environment. 

Research interests

The current research involves metal-based alloys as a suitable material of hip joint replacements/prostheses. The study is to understand how the interactions/kinetics of the biological substances with the CoCrMo alloys surface under the tribology and corrosion (tribocorrosion) environment. The practical works use reciprocating pin-on-plate tribometer, as well as some surface chemistry analysis such as 3D interferometry, SEM-EDS and XPS.
