- General combustion, including hazards - British Gas, Safety and Reliability Directorate UKAEA, Nederlandse Gas Unie, Petronas, Shell, 1982, Consultant to Brish Gas on Canvey Island LNG terminal. 1983, Studies with UKAEA on hydrogen explosion related to the Three Mile Island nuclear reactor incident. 2001, Consultant to Airbus UK on Concorde fire. 2006 Advisor to QinetiQ on Kinloss Nimrod loss and fire. 2006-2008. Member of Explosion Mechanism Advisory Group of the Buncefield Major Incident Investigation.
