Dr Chung Han Chua

Profile

I have joined the Institute of Functional Surfaces (iFS) after completing my PhD at the Centre of Additive Manufacturing at the University of Nottingham. My research involved the design and evaluation of upper limb prostheses with a focus on their functionality. I have developed a range of design tools to enable shorter design feedback loops to better inform upper limb prostheses design that can reduce time to market and ultimately costs.

At the iFS, on the OncoEng project, I will use my experience in developing evaluation methods and knowledge in additive manufacturing to devise methodologies to test novel MBD spinal implants.
