Profile

  • BSc Physics 1st class University of Aberdeen.
  • PhD, Imaging changes in the rodent brain using diffusion weighted arterial spin labelling. Exploring changes due to Human African Trypanosomiasis (sleeping sickness) looking at the effects in the brain and the spleen. Developing diffusion weighted arterial spin labelling using 7T MRI in rodents.
  • Research fellow 2020 – 2022 University of Leeds. Developing 31P methods for examining changes in cardiac metabolism in mice.
  • Currently working on exploring debris from the wear in hip replacements.
