Profile
I have a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pristina (UP) in Kosovo. After my bachelor I joined Limak Airport Service Institute (LimakASI), where I obtained a Degree in Airport and Aviation Management from Boğaziçi University, leading to my first job as Mechanical Engineer at Pristina International Airport (PIA).
After three years of experience with PIA in 2017 I got a scholarship with the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Program in Tribology, where I spent a semester in each of the following universities, University of Leeds, University of Ljubljana, University of Coimbra. As part of my master's thesis in 2019 I joined Ducom Instruments in the Netherlands focusing research on using DLC Coatings in Engines.
Upon finishing my Master's Degree, from 2019 to 2021 I joined the European Union Office in Kosovo as a Project Monitoring Expert in the Energy Sector.
Starting in November 2021, I am part of the BioTrib team under the Marie Curie – Innovative Training Network, researching the nature origin and degradation of implant debris.
