Profile
I am currently working at the Institute of Functional Surfaces (iFS) at the school of Mechanical Engineering. I am active in the areas of tribology, biotribology and biotribocorrosion. Alongside my research, I have conducted a number of industrial consultancy projects. My areas of research involve actively using a wide range of materials characterization and testing and analytical tools including: bench-type tribometers, hip simulators, AFM, FTIR, SEM/EDX, Raman Spectroscopy, ICP, etc. I am a Member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (MIMechE) and a Member of the Society of Tribologist and Lubrication Engineers (STLE).
