- Thesis title: Interaction between DLC and lubricants to develop recyclable low SAPS formulated oils
- Supervisors: Dr Liuquan Yang, Professor Ardian Morina, Professor Bruno Trindade
Profile
Mr Mobeen Haneef is a Post Graduate Researcher (PGR) at the University of Leeds. He is pursuing his Joint Doctorate from the University of Coimbra, Portugal and the University of Leeds, United Kingdom under a program named GreenTRIBOS, which is funded by Horizon 2020, MSCA Grant. His research work is related to the development of metal-doped DLC coatings for tribological application when used with low-SAPS formulated synthetic lubricating oils.
Mr Mobeen Haneef has completed his Bachelor of Materials Engineering with a specialization in surface science and Master of Science in Materials and Surface Engineering from the School of Chemical and Materials Engineering (SCME), National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), H-12, Islamabad, Pakistan. During his Bachelor of Engineering, his thesis title was ‘Use of Graphene Nanosheets and Barium Titanate as Fillers in PMMA for Dielectric Applications’ and for his Master of Engineering he worked on the topic, ‘Synthesis of Doped and Modified Titania Nanopowders as Visible Light Photocatalysts for Environmental Applications’.
