Asim Ghaffar is currently working towards his Ph.D. degree at the Insitute of Design, Robotics and Optimization (iDRO) in the School of Mechanical Engineering, University of Leeds, Leeds, U.K. He is working on the Optimization of Assistive Robotic Exoskeleton Actuation System.
He received his M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), Dhahran, Saudi Arabia in 2014. His M.Sc thesis was related to Optimization of Cable based Parallel Manipulators for Undersea Applications. He completed his B.Sc. (Hons) degree in Mechatronics and Control Engineering in 2009 from University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, Pakistan.
