- Supervisor: Professor Louise M Jennings, Dr Raelene M Cowie, Dr Adam Briscoe
Profile
I have completed a MSc Bioengineering degree at the University of Nottingham (2021) and a BSc (Hons) Biochemistry (2020) at Nottingham Trent University. I began my PhD at the Institute of Medical and Biological Engineering at the University of Leeds in 2023.
Research interests
I am researching the friction and wear of the cartilage of the patellofemoral joint articulating against PEEK OPTIMA™ (Invibio Ltd) in a novel all polymer knee implant and developing methods to assess the wear, damage and deformation of cartilage to gain a better understanding of its tribology.
Qualifications
- MSc Bioengineering
- BSc (Hons) Biochemistry
