Research interests
I am interested in the model theory of exponentiation and of other analytic functions; in particular, taming complex exponentiation and other complex covers, along the strategy set up by Zilber, and fast growing real functions, via surreal numbers and transseries. I also work in Diophantine geometry, especially in connection with the aforementioned problems.

Student education
I maintain BookML, an automated LaTeX to accessible bookdown-style HTML (and SCORM) converter based on LaTeXML, the technology behind ar5iv. BookML can typically digest unmodified LaTeX files and produce good looking pages, with various accessibility features (all of MathJax’s functionality, dark mode, configurable fonts, etc). See the Leeds BookML guide for more info and examples.
For teaching on a projector or online, I made OneBoard, a clutter-free (double) whiteboard hacked on top of OneNote.
