Profile
I am a Curriculum Redefined Lecturer in Mathematics and Physical Sciences at the University of Leeds.
My pedagogical interests lie in the area of transnational education and incorporating the English language in Mathematics lectures.
Currently, I am leading a module and developing another one.
Prior to this, I obtained a PhD in Mathematics from Loughborough University and an MMath from the University of Warwick.
I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy via the PGCAP (Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice).
Responsibilities
- Curriculum Redefined
- Module Design
- Module Leader
Research interests
My research area is in the Analysis of Partial Differential Equations. In particular, hyperbolic PDEs with multiplicities and generalised functions. I have studied hyperbolic equations with multiplicities and irregular coefficients, seeking well-posedness results in the sense of very weak solutions.
