Profile
I have always loved math, but over time, statistics caught my attention.
I got my BSc degree in Statistics from Universitas Islam Indonesia in 2016.After finishing my undergraduate study, I worked on projects, with my professors while getting ready for graduate school. In 2017 I joined a Master of Science program in Applied Statistics at IPB University with the support of a scholarship from the local government. Alongside my pursuits, I worked as a consultant offering data driven insights and overseeing survey initiatives for organizations. I also developed relationships within both campus and community groups. These experiences enhanced my abilities nurturing spirits, teamwork skills, project management proficiency, and naturally cultivate a collaborative environment.
Since the beginning, I have always had a sense that I would return to my roots. When the Universitas Riau finally established a statistics department in 2016, I felt compelled to work there, giving my all and assisting my students in achieving their goals through statistics. The experiences and wisdom gathered throughout my education and professional journey have equipped me well for my role as a lecturer at the Universitas Riau.
Majoring in applied statistics, I am passionate about data science and its potential to simplify decision-making through machine learning and computation. In my university, my research team focuses on using statistical analysis and data science to predict climate change and risk of stunting in toddlers. Currently, I am working with genetics data for My PhD in University of Leeds.
