Profile

I am a PhD researcher in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Leeds. My research addresses the decarbonization of transportation and power systems in the transition toward net-zero emissions. I focus on grid-scale battery energy storage systems, security-constrained power system planning, AI-based coordinated control, and dynamic stability assessment. My work also investigates coordinated energy storage solutions for electrified transportation systems, including more-electric aircraft and railway systems, to address sector-specific challenges such as voltage fluctuation mitigation, operational efficiency, and system stability.

Research interests

1. AI-Based Coordinated Control and MARL
Multi-agent reinforcement learning, network-aware control, and distributed decision-making methods for physically constrained energy systems.

2. BESS Integration in Future Low-Carbon Power Grids
Grid-scale BESS planning and dynamic security assessment for renewable integration, N-1 transmission congestion relief, frequency-response headroom, and small-signal stability support.

3. Energy Storage Management in Electrified Transportation Systems
Coordinated storage and power management for more-electric aircraft and railway systems, addressing voltage fluctuations, operational efficiency, and system stability.
