Maha Alruwaili

Profile

I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in the School of Computing and Electronic & Electrical Engineering, specializing in Distributed Systems & Communication Networks. My research focuses on advancing the Internet of Things (IoT), self-driving cars, and smart cities. I specialize in the integration of power and network resources, wireless/mobile communication networks, and the application of machine learning and AI.

My current research aims to enhance resource allocation in autonomous vehicle communication systems using advanced machine learning techniques. This includes studying 5G next generation technology and its impact on vehicular networks, particularly Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) and Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) communications.

In 2017, I earned my Bachelor's degree in Information Technology and Computer Science from Northern Border University in Saudi Arabia. In 2021, I received my Master's degree in Advanced Computer Science from the University of Leicester, UK.
