Research interests
I am working on an interdisciplinary research project involving developing and applying AI techniques, in particular those involving qualitative spatial reasoning, to datasets from the humanities. Our team at Leeds is collaborating with a range of partners from other universities in the UK (Lancaster, Bristol, Manchester) and the USA (Stanford, IUPUI) across a range of disciplines (History, English, Digital Humanities) to help gain an understanding of spatial information in textual corpora such as The Corpus of Lake District Writing, and Holocaust survivor testimonies.
