- Thesis title: Characterization of Myocardium Tissue Structure and Vasculature Using Diffusion MRI
Profile
Hi there, I am a research assistant at the University of Leeds, working in the computational imaging & simulation technologies in biomedicine (CISTIB) with Prof. Alejandro Frangi and Prof. Jürgen E Schneider on one of the BQ-Minded projects. My Ph.D. is funded by the European union's horizon 2020 research and innovation program under the Marie Sklodowska-Curie grant and focussed on the characterization of cardiac tissue structure and vasculature using diffusion MRI. I received my M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering from the Isfahan University of Medical Science under the supervision of Prof. Hossein Rabbani in 2016. Meanwhile, I worked as a graduate researcher at the Medical Image and signal processing (MISP) research center until September 2018. Before starting my Ph.D., my work has been devoted to various disciplines in signal/image processing such as inverse problem, convex optimization, and signal reconstruction.
