- Thesis title: Mechanisms for aerosolisation of microbial particles from liquid surfaces – understanding fluid mediated transmission pathways of infectious diseases
Profile
I am studying for an interdisciplinary MSc/PhD in the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Fluid Dynamics: 2015-2019.
I graduated from Univeristy of Leeds in 2014 with a BSc Mathematics degree, after this I took a year out to travel before coming back to academia.
Research interests
My research interests lie in transmission of airborne infection through aerosolisation. Particulsry focusing on the microbial particles that effect people with cystic fibrosis. My research will involve small scale laboratory experiments, room scale aerosol experiments using safe surrogate microorganisms and computational modelling.
