Profile

I graduated with First-Class Honours in Mathematics (MMath) from Lincoln University in 2022. Currently, I am studying at the Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) in Fluid Dynamics, where I conducted Masters-level research on the 3D printing of metallic powders. Building on this experience, I am now undertaking a PhD, on the ‘Instabilities in Rotating Cylinders’, supervised by Dr. Cédric Beaume, Dr Greg de Boer, and Professor Nikil Kapur. My research interests lie at the intersection of fluid dynamics, materials science, and applied mathematics, and I am dedicated to advancing our understanding of these complex systems.

Research interests

Couette-Taylor flows
Instabilities in wall-bounded shear and boundary layer flows
Transition to turbulence
Coherent flow structures
Non-Newtonian flows
