Profile

I completed my undergraduate studies at University College London, where I studied Medical Physics on a master's-integrated 4-year course. During my master research project, I first applied AI to a medical application, classifying COVID-19 from Lung Ultrasound images. 

Research interests

With advances in imaging techniques like high resolution fluorescence microscopy, it is now possible determine how cells are organised into tissues, and how proteins are organised in cells to a high level of detail. In this project, we aim to develop AI methodology to investigate the organisation of cells in the heart, together with the subcellular organisation of proteins within the heart cells, that will enable us to discriminate normal from diseased heart muscle tissue.
