Profile
I am a research fellow at the School of Civil Engineering, University of Leeds, working with Prof. Theodore Hanein On the future Leaders Fellowship project, “ Green, Circular, and smart Cement manufacture”. This research project focuses on the elaboration of ecological cement from locally available materials and processing wastes in the UK. The main goal is to produce a sustainbale and green cement that will lower the CO2 emission and the energy consumtpion within cement manufacturing. In addition to that, we are creating value from wastes and lowering their environmental impact. The continuous development of new construction materials and technologies in this era has the power to transform industries and shape our future to become more sustainable and greener. it is this motivation that fuels my dedicated to research and innovation. I hold a PhD in waste recycling and materials science from the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University, Morocco. Under the supervision of Prof. Jones Alami and Prof. Youssef Tamraoui. Prior to that, i have got my bachlor degree in materials science and my master degree in functional materials at Cadi Ayyad University, Morocco.
